# Roo Code

> Use the OpenAI Compatible provider in Roo Code.


1. Open the Roo Code settings and add a profile.
2. **API Provider**: **OpenAI Compatible**.
3. **Base URL**: `https://api.notholy.com/v1`
4. **API Key**: your NotHoly key.
5. **Model**: `notholy-specter`.
6. Turn on reasoning effort if you want it, and set the context window to `1048576`.

This guide follows the tool's documented OpenAI-compatible setup. Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode are the tools we run in our own connector tests.

Tool settings change between versions. If a field here is gone, look for the tool's OpenAI-compatible provider option and use the same base URL, key and model ID.
