API keys
Create scoped access for an application and keep the secret private.

Create a key
Open Developer console → API keys. Choose a meaningful name, the minimum required scopes and an optional USD spending limit. Creation reveals the secret once. Copy it only to a trusted secret store.
Review and revoke
The key list shows masked identifiers and actual status. Revoking a key prevents applications using it from making further authorized requests; it does not cancel historical usage.
Credits and permissions
Chat, CLI and API share the customer credit unit. Included and purchased balances remain identifiable. A funded balance never substitutes for the required model, run or session scope.
